The Mold Maker repairs, rebuilds and/or overhauls all types of production and service equipment. Sets up and operates all types of tool-room equipment and tools, considering the various types of materials, tolerances, cutting tools, coolants and machine tool’s feeds/speeds. Works with extremely close tolerances and grinds all types of special tools. This position shall improvise when equipment is limited. Heat-treats and welds parts as required. Fits and assembles jigs, fixtures, tools, dies and molds.

Performs required inspections before, during and after machining. The Mold Maker determines specifications for inspection of work using precision measuring tools. Requires high degree of precision and control in work to avoid material waste and equipment damage.

The Mold Maker will plan and layout all work. Determines accurate and efficient methods for performing the planned work. The incumbent uses shop mathematics daily to perform work.

This position may work with Product Designers and Engineers, providing input to manufacturing capability on newly designed products. The Mold Maker will at times, instruct and assist Machinists, Preventative Maintenance Technician, and Mold Makers of lesser skills and abilities.

Position supports manufacturing floor with problem solving and repair to maintain efficient high volume production.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge and experience with molds
Machine tools and machinist hand tools.
Apprenticeships and/or certifications a plus.
Must possess a high degree of attention and care, toward work.
Knowledge of and ability to use shop mathematics.
Ability to communicate with others effectively.

The Tool & Die Maker builds new, repairs, rebuilds and/or overhauls all types of production progressive dies and service equipment. The Tool & Die Maker will set up and operate all types of tool-room equipment and tools, considering the various types of materials, tolerances, cutting tools, coolants and machine tool’s feeds/speeds. This position works with extremely close tolerances and grinds all types of special tools. The Tool & Die Maker is responsible for tracing tool difficulties to their source and correcting them. The Tool & Die Maker sets up dies to produce a product to specifications, ensuring that certain specifications have been met and tolerances maintained. Performs required inspections before, during and after machining. This position requires a high degree of precision and control in work to avoid material waste and equipment damage. The successful candidate will have knowledge of machine tools and machinist hand tools. Must posses a high degree of attention and care, toward work. The successful candidate will have knowledge of and ability to use shop mathematics & hold a Journeymans certificate with 5 years of experience or 10 years experience without a certificate. Strong communication skills to be able to communicate will all levels of the Organization required. A plus would be having CAD knowledge & CNC programming. The Tool & Die Maker will also communicate all tool changes back to the Tool designer for documentation control.

The Tool Room Machinist builds, alters or repairs all types of jigs, fixtures, gages and tooling required in a manufacturing environment. Sets up and operates all types of Tool Room equipment and tools, considering the various types of materials, tolerances, cutting tools, coolants and machine tool’s feeds/speeds. Works with extremely close tolerances and grinds all types of special tools.
The preferred candidate will have prior work history demonstrating the Machinist position. Knowledge of machine tools and machinist hand tools is required. Successful candidates must posses a high degree of attention and care and a high school diploma. Knowledge of and ability to use shop mathematics is required.

Maintenance Electrician/Machine Repair Technician

Wahl Clipper Corporation the leading manufacturer of Clippers and Trimmers is in need of a Maintenance Electrician Technician.

The Maintenance Tech works with a minimum of supervision to maintain and repair electrical and hydraulic equipment, controls, devices and miscellaneous assembly and production equipment in an operating condition.
1. Perform routine maintenance on equipment. This will include but not limited to: Plastics processing equipment, punch presses, grinders, and support equipment. Install and maintain; electrical conduit, pneumatic and hydraulic lines. Use of welding equipment, electrical test equipment, and hand tools as well as various other maintenance equipment for routine repairs is required.
2. Diagnose and repair of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues. Allen Bradley and/or Siemans control back ground is a plus.

Minimum Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic math and trade school courses: Electrical, hydraulic, PLC, mechanical, welding, etc. Ability to weld, use hand tools, power tools and electrical test equipment.
